This obviously doesn't make sense anymore because Crouse was traded to the Yotes today, but I wanted to comment because Hossa isn't likely to ever be traded because of the recapture penalties should he retire - they would be huge for the Hawks. The Hawks will likely want to keep Hossa close so they can convince him to go the LTIR route rather than retirement since he's making pretty much nothing to a hockey player after this year. The risk is too high for the Hawks to trade Hossa, unlike the Preds with trading Weber because they're rarely near the cap ceiling and Weber is younger.
