Description

For the sake of argument, let’s say little retires as well. This better demonstrates that Roslovic likely shifts to center in the next year or so to eventually replace wheeler. Wheeler would move down to roslovic’s spot and I would try to resign Lowry (though for cheaper). I would try to keep copp but only for under 3.75M. The rest gets filled out by younger guys

If the jets get 1st overall, I see lafreniere playing on the 2nd line to start his career, much like laine. I also don’t see him being better than any of the current top 5 forwards of scheifele, wheeler, ehlers, connor, or laine right away. I see him as having a 60 pt rookie season and learning the ropes of the nhl as he goes.

Minnesota trade is any team really.

I’m not so sure about moving someone like ehlers. He is a dominant playing on the ice. Imo unless they can get someone as good as him but a center, they don’t go for it. That said, if say Tampa offers cirelli and a 2020 1st (probably through a 3 way trade since tampa doesn’t have one rn) I would take it. I don’t think there are any centres on the market of ehlers’ value and moving him would only make the top 6 worse. Imo we play wheeler at c until Roslovic is ready then we have wheelers replacement in laf

Yes. Don’t expect him to get over 20 pts in a season but he will handle his own end well. Imo the jets resign him to come back and keep playing on the shutdown pairing with JoMo. Really frees up JoMo to become that elite offensive defensemen we all know he can be
