What are your thoughts?

a number of RFA's signed 3 year bridge deal with big Qualifying offers on the back end to ensure they get paid. on a flat cap for all of those 3 years will we see these guys get moved around once their contracts are up?
or will we see a high volume of offersheets in the 21/22 off season?

read the description of the post, these are all the guys that signed short term deals last offseason with big QO's looking for a raise based on a rising cap projection... will their teams be able to afford re-signing them (Boeser included for VAN)

Most of these players will just have to negotiate new long-or-short-term deals based on where the cap is at. Their qualifying offers don't mean much unless they're signing one year extensions.

Before COVID, it was a safe bet to sign a bridge contract and bet on yourself. With COVID ruining the economy, I'm not convinced all these players get big deals, maybe not even one of them.

I have not seen any details of the new CBA and so I'm interested to see what the PA negotiated at least for the next 3 seasons because even with a vaccine, COVID has done it's damage.

Perhaps a of these players sign another short term deal (say 2 years) so they can sign that big deal after the affects of COVID are gone.
