Columbus declines. We have no interest in trading Anderson in division and a bottom 6 wing and a 3rd isn’t going to get us to move him anyways.

If you want him, offersheet him. It’s a 2nd round pick.

I would offer the 2nd round pick acquired in the Detroit trade... but my whole question is... Simon and a 3rd is probably a better package than a 2nd so why turn that down?

Simon is a 13th forward with CBJ so 2nd > 3rd

Because we have no use for a 13th-15th forward which is what Simone is for us. He’s a bottom 6- healthy scratch depth player, something Columbus has plenty of.
