That’s a no from Columbus. PLD has more value to Columbus then adding KK, Drouin and Juulson. Anderson is equal to the 2nd. If you want PLD the trade includes one of Domi or Danault. Plus KK and a 1st. You’d have to pry in out of Columbus with an offer we don’t even think about accepting, we just accept.

What would you need from Buffalo for Pierre-Luc Dubois?

It definitely won't be easy to get Dubois. I think he's awesome, and personally it would take a lot to trade him from that perspective. But maybe the threat of an offer sheet changes their minds. It would be great for the Habs fans. The package you said isn't far off from what I put. But I agree, Columbus would have to think about not taking it. I would even add Poehling, and add a 2021 2nd if that would do it. I'm not sure the Habs would add their 2021 1st unless it was top 10 protected.

If we're giving up our #1C we need a #1C coming back. And the only guy in that neighborhood Buffalo has is, well, Eichel. So it's not really a worthwhile conversation by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah... no... not even close for Columbus. We need centers. Drouin is a wing.... Domi or Danault replaces PLD and we still need a 2nd line center. KK had the great room year and a massive sophomore slump, I’d expect he turns it around, and the 1st is much more valuable then an extra 2nd.

Also Drouin and torts would be an awful combination.... as I said Columbus would likely March any offer sheet under 10 mil. As you have him 8.75 we’d easily match that.
