Interesting idea on Okposo. I would think Buffalo adds a late round pick there and Zuccarello would have to be willing to waive. Adding a year at 6 million might not be worth it though. He'll be 36 at the end of that deal.

Tampa would likely want a cost controlled D back in any deal for Cirelli. Mittelstadt, Borgen (or maybe Ryan Johnson), and a 1st is probably the starting point. I'd bet they move some of the expensive wingers with NTCs to teams they might want to go to (not Buffalo) before moving Cirelli.

Tampa Cirelli is already better then what Mittelstadt will ever be, Tampa downgrades no thanks.

I assume the value on the trade isn't right but I think some of the pieces are there and I think yes Sabres add. I know lightning can make moves to free up cap but Cirelli could demand more than TB can free up plus will he continue to be content being the 3rd best center on the team?
