they should re-sign him, short term not long term. if you take it out of your mind he was a 4th overall pick, you'll see he never sucked.

who at center or rw would you play over him? he is a top 6 player on this currant team. no doubt about that.

He's also on pace for 73.46 points, a total of 45 players got to that mark; on a point per game pace similar to Domi, Larkin, Backstrom, Teravainen, Stone, Hoffman, Duchene, etc. Plus he's an RFA.. he's a shoe in for a 5m contract next season if he puts up 70, most likely he'll get something along the lines William Karlsson got two years ago but for a longer term (5.25)
