Description
Athanasiou & Anderson are having brutal seasons and it is likely time for them to be moved to get a fresh start somewhere else. Clearly they have shown to be much better in the past, but it is still a gamble to pick them up, it might take more to pick up Anderson, but Khaira is a good bottom 6er and Archibald is small, but is a tough, fast SOB and an above average PKer.

The Hall offer is better than anything I've been hearing about. Granlund and Manning are salary dumps, but Granlund is still an above average pker.

Lagesson made the Oilers out of training camp, but couldn't crack the line-up over the vets. He is NHL ready, he plays a similar game to Adam Larsson, but might be a better puck-mover.

Yamamoto made the Oilers out of training camp the last 2 years, right out of Junior, but he couldn't stick. He is on the verge of being an impact NHL player, but has suffered from a wrist injury the last 2 years, which impacted him at towards the end of last season and resulted in him missing Training Camp and the start of the 2019-20 AHL season.

Cooper Marody is a smart offensive center, but has been slowed by injuries this season. He is on the verge of cracking an NHL line-up.

Winga in no.position to sell low on AA. Best bet is to wait it out and sign him at years end. He is a RFA and Wings have zero cap issues next year.

Sorry, Columbus isn’t selling that low on Anderson. We don’t need an old guy and a bottom 6 forward.

Until they have to sign their RFA's and sign UFA's.

You are not concerned with AA's season? -35 would typically put him as one of the 3 worst results in an entire season.

At this rate if he stays in Detroit he is on track set a record for the worst plus minus in a season (-82, 69 & 68 are the 3 worst, set in the mid to early 1970's) I'd bet his agent is trying to get him out of there and there is a great relationship between Yzerman & Holland.... This is a lost season for Detroit, so a move like this shouldn't surprise anyone.

Also something to consider, and it's been like this for a few seasons, how about the fact that the Wings only I have 1 Right shot forward in the entire organization, Glendenning. This deal gives them 2 more.

Old guy?

Isn't Anderson playing like an AHL tweener this season? Not a good place to be for a player, messes them up and they often don't recover. Confidence is everything for a player.

Anderson's Agent, if he is doing his job right will be lobbying hard to give his client a change of scenery.

Yes I am concerned, but the whole team is not having a good season. -35 is bad but again this is almost season and selling low now is not a good strategy. Stevie and Kenny might have a good relationship but that stops when one GM is rebuilding and the other has a generational talent.
His agent might want to get him out of Detroit, but again he is a RFA and Wings hold all the cards not AA.

Lastly, Wings having only 1 RH shot up front is troublesome, but JP is a headache and Chiasson is not building for the future, as he is old and not having a good season this year.

Lastly Yzerman will probably looking for a LH defenseman, not someone else's headache, older player who had a very good season.
