I wouldn't be opposed for going at Killorn next year, but not now. Not only will he make use of the NTC until it becomes modified, but the contract is too hefty for this year.

Interested in killorn potential. ( I like the trade although I don’t see us moving both Sörensen and Dillon)

Personally I know his advanced stats look good but I would like to know if he doesn’t bump his stats and what not from his linemates, because his totals are good and he brings “GRIT”. But is he benefiting more from his team or himself I wonder

It’s possible but he would get top six minutes in SJ with top quality players as well. So I don’t see his stats dropping much.

I doubt Doug makes any trades this year unless we’re going to be making a deep run, we’re still not even in playoff position. Doug tends to “reward” the team for good play with trades but I don’t think we’ve played well enough for that reward.

A goalie upgrade needs to be seriously considered if we’re to make the playoffs. Jones’ numbers are still terrible after the win streak.

Personally I understand that jones statement but he played quite well during that stretch. I don’t think his numbers are representative of how he plays always. Like we won some of those games solely due to jones kinda. And his stats still weren’t good but that’s cause how poorly we play in front of him. Like I completely agree we need help in the net but I think more of a 1a 1B situation will make us solid (like the isles except they play amazing team defence).

Like last game Burns was absolutely horrendous and if they scored 1-3 times due to his just brutal mistakes; yes jones didn’t “save them” but I woulda put those on Burns because I cringed a million times last game due to burns.

I can admit to a degree that it isn’t all on Jones. I need to see him play well consistently, for more than a month to have restored faith in him. Erik and Burns are still taking huge risks in the Dzone. Same for Dell, his game against Vegas was very good, give us five more of those over the next month and I’ll believe it.

Every goalie lets in a soft goal here and there but Jones seems to do it once a game. Odd man rushes happen every game and every team commits that error defensively once in a while but the goalie has to stand tall on most of those. Restore faith. We’re lucky Vlasic and Simek have played some very good defense this month.
