As far as the Leafs trade....maybe. Toronto might just try to get Miller on their own, and then pay you a 2nd for Marleau's buyout, saving themselves Kapanen (but costing a few more picks). I would think they want to avoid giving away a potential top-6 forward for cap relief.

That being said, I do see the Marleau trade to be bought out scenario being likely.

Ottawa might want to send MacArthur back to save real world cash.

I'd trade Brannstrom for Dobson in a heartbeat... that would be good for both teams... Ottawa would probably need to add but that would work for both

Leafs are NOT getting salary retention of they trade strait for Miller and Leafs need cap space as much as Vegas....

I don't think the jets do that. they are still in talks with Myers and if they don't get a replacement for Trouba back in a deal, we will sign him. Even if not, Ceci isn't that appealing
