& no it's not. You have 3 defensive liability forwards and a rookie that you have no idea how he'll react to a new position or less ice time. That is most definitely not one of the best bottom 6 in the league. LOL.

While I butt heads with DirtyDangles pretty frequently I think I would meet in the middle with both of you. That bottom 6 is a top 10 in the league. The 3rd line has a 30 goal scorer, a blossoming young center who was a #2 pick, and a rookie with a VERY high ceiling. The 4th line has 3 very capable NHL players who play solid defensively and can chip in occasionally. Definitely a far-cry from "needs improvement"

As for the defense, it really all depends on how the youngsters progress. Hopefully AV can get them going, Provorov and Ghost had down years and should bounce back. Myers and Sanheim proved they belong in the NHL and bring speed/size, Gudas and Morin as a 3rd pairing is a pretty strong pairing assuming Morin is who most Flyers fans think he is. I don't think Gudas will have as strong of a year as he did last year but if he can maintain what he did last year I will be happy.

I said it last year (and I was wrong) and I will say it again this year, this is a playoff team with a shot assuming the youngsters grow into their roles.
