Notice I have a 23 man roster unlike a lot of the posts on here.

Would love to keep Nylander to see if he can bounce back, but if Marner gets paid, he might have to go.

Marleau isn't going to go anywhere but will be on the 4th line. Sandin and Liljegren could be up during the year, but not to start the year. Signed Hainsey for under $2m but it could be some other experience RD for one year.

Sparks is sent to the minors. If worried he might be claimed, then traded for a late pick. I signed Kinkaid, but maybe they bring Curtis Mac back. They need someone that can take some of the workload off of Anderson and also win some games. Sparks bad play last year likely cost them home ice in the first round.

This was a one for one trade probably at the beginning of last year but not any more. Toronto likely has to add more then a 2nd round pick now but it won't be a roster player, so just put the 2nd to show the Leafs need Nylander + to get Pesce if Carolina is stupid enough to trade.

It is not a one for one trade if you read my comments. Toronto has to add to get Pesce but nothing from the roster, picks and prospects. Carolina has depth at RD and needs offence. The Leafs have depth on offence and RW but need defence. This might not be the exact trade but the key pieces.

Toronto is not adding to get Pesce. Also my point was about trading Nylander to make place for that holy overpayment of a contract for Marner.
