Trading for Panarin doesn't make sense and there are like 4 of these in a row now. The Bruins don't need a top 6 LW, they have 2 fine ones. If the Bruins make a major acquisition; the guy who makes the most sense is Mark Stone as he makes the 1st line better because he's a better defender than Pastrnak and can score a similar amount. That also makes the 2nd line stronger by moving Pastrnak down to play with Krejci and DeBrusk. I don't really see any point in moving DeBrusk to the 3rd line because he's been good and absolutely doesn't deserve a demotion. If anything he deserves more ice time than the around 16:00 he's getting but in moving him down he'd probably decrease to about what Heinen is at (13ish).

I thought exactly that any trade that involves putting debrusk on the ice less is probably not making the team a lot better. Certainly not worth the price to the Bruins.

I agree with most of what you are saying, but Stone seems like a blueprint of what Krejci is looking for. It Also gives them two very solid lines defensively that can score.
Either way, I wouldn't complain.

Debrusk has been getting some run at RW, so if this were to happen it doesn't mean Debrusk gets moved down.
